As a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, I have many years of engineering experience, as well as extensive home construction experience as a licensed building contractor. Additionally, I have had extensive and continuing training and education in all aspects of residential and commercial inspection and have performed inspections since 1989. Please note that the exams for becoming a Professional Engineer (P.E.) are more rigorous and far exceed the standard exams required for home inspection. As a result, I have unique engineering and code knowledge that other inspectors may not possess.
At EIS, each home inspection is treated as being an education for the homebuyer. You will find that I have some of the most comprehensive reports available so that you can refer to them long after the inspection is over. I document all areas of coverage with digital photos.
